Vijay Mallya is back to his business! The mighty corporate tycoon after having the Force India Formula One team off the grid at the Australian and Malaysian Grand Prix, according to the latest information, is destined to perceive his Kingfisher Airlines in the international routes. However, it should be noted, to the present regulations the Kingfisher is not in a position to go for the international, but Mallya is keeping no stone unturned for the apposite preparations.
As a result the Kingfisher Airlines is loosing no time to get ready and is therefore concentrating to set up its bases at several airports outside the country, especially in the US and Europe. To give this noble aspiration a complete picture it is also tying up with hotels, caterers, service providers and agents. Accordingly the senior officials of the company are perceived to move towards various directions in order to get the necessary clearances from the internationally acclaimed airports and civil aviation authorities of other countries. All these endeavors are in view of the fact that with the arrival of the opportune time the marketing and related services would be well in place, and will put additional effort to thrive more. By now more than a thousand cabin crew, comprised only of females, are getting necessary training in Mumbai and Bangalore to fly in the international sectors.
It has also been heard that the Kingfisher Airlines would commence taking delivery of its pending order of Airbus A340-500 aircraft in June this year. To each airplane a total number of 136 cabin crew would be attached and the demand is that there should not be any laxity to cope with the international standard. The pilots are also being trained for undertaking ultra long haul flights connecting Bangalore and San Francisco. All these are since the government has allowed the Deccan to fly overseas from August 27, 2008 and the continuing process of merger between Deccan and Kingfisher Airlines would therefore help Mallya to go for the overseas.
